The Birth of a New Hobby

Finally, starting something that I have been yearning to get my hands dirty.

Hi! My name is Koko. I was granted by my company a long vacation, free from the noise of the mechanical ventilators and infusion pumps. If you are wondering what apparatuses I have just said, those are the machines in the hospital which create annoying sounds that truly affect the moods of nurses.  Yes, I am a critical care nurse. Alas, I was given time to do what I really like, writing. I am very happy to start a blog. It has been a dream that I have been wanting to pursue. Let me aid you to getting to know me better. 

I am 22 years old. I am working as a Neurosciences and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nurse in the Philippines. I am also a foodie, a make-up savvy, a creative cook and artist, a frustrated writer, and a occasional spender. Oh, I almost forgot, I also own a Labrador named Pin-Pin. You might see him in my next blogs. 

My page is named Halo-halo meaning a little bit of everything. It is a Filipino word for a dessert with mixture of different fruits, boiled sweet beans, milk and ice shavings. It is a very yummy dessert. If ever, you will be traveling to the Philippines, Halo-halo is something you should try. Going back, it also simply means mixed together to perfection. One flavor will compliment another. Just like this blog, hopefully, one topic will compliment another and suit your reading pleasure. 

I will be posting a topic to another with no particular or staple genre. I will just write whatever my heart is into at the moment and share it to you. I will give out tips and tricks, a few recipes, beauty hacks, some arts and crafts or even a step-by-step procedure of how to bathe dogs.
